Running annually since 1996, The North London Story Festival is a student-led event that aims to celebrate all forms of storytelling through hosting a range of guest speakers and holding practical workshops at the Hendon campus of Middlesex University.

 

Formerly the North London Literary Festival, previous speakers include Dame Professor Carol Ann Duffy, David Nicholls, Al Kennedy, Lynton Kwesi Johnson, Andrew Motion and Fay Weldon. 

 

The theme for our event in 2021 is ‘Transformation’. As a Story Festival – rather than the more traditional Literary Festival – we are hosting speakers and workshops that address the full spectrum of transformation as a genre and process in entertainment.
