Barbara is the creator of the fictional Turkish detective Çetin İkmen. Dubbed the ‘Turkish Morse’, the Ikmen series runs to 21 novels and counting. Nadel has published further series, Francis Hancock and Hakim and Arnold. The novel Bright Shiny Things, which explores the world of radical Islam, was published exclusively by Foyles.
