Ivy is a graduate of Middlesex’s Creative Writing masters programme, the author of two novels, and has written for a range of publications including Marie Claire, The Star and New Straights Times. 
 
Ivy’s talk will address trends in contemporary crime fiction, looking at the concept of noir and using characters to bring out the well-loved crime themes such as obsession, morality, greed, desire and revenge.
